We are a organization that empowers individuals in all ages to volunteer and keep socially engaged!
Who can volunteer with us?
EVERYONE! We are an intergenerational volunteer association and have opportunities for all age groups.
Q1: How do I know what age group to sign up for?
A: Part 1: Youth Volunteers are age range 10-25
A: Part 2: Lotus Volunteers are age range 26-50
A: Part 3: Gold Member Volunteers are age range 51-69
A: Part 4: Platinum Member Volunteers are age range 70 and above

Q3: Will there be plenty of in-person engagement?
A: While we do have many zoom meetings, we have increased the frequency of in person activities, and these can be found on the calendar: KeepFluent
Currently we get together twice each month with special event additions throughout the year.

Q4: How does transportation work? Do you provide transportation?
A: It is a team effort! While we often have SAIVA Volunteers who would be happy to share rides with our Member Volunteers, we may sometimes need to organize rides with services such as any ride share application. We will ask for a partial amount of the fee for these rides to reduce the regular cost to you, if applicable.
Q5: How may I select to Attend, Assist, or Lead SAIVA’s weekly intergenerational events?
A: You will find all events and opportunity to sign-up for events HERE
- Some miscellaneous issues to consider during the on-boarding process.
- Once approved, the volunteer can log on to the website and edit their own profile.
- The information collected via the registration form will be saved in a back-end database. This can be downloaded as a spreadsheet.
- Payment tracking must be monitored.
- A spreadsheet of current Lifetime Memberships must be kept current.
- Identification of past due requested payments must be tracked in order to request future payments from ongoing participants.
- Add a "Make a Donation" button to the website.
